These letters do a very good job of addressing the parents in a professional manner. The letters explain the purpose of the writing and then go into detail of the topic. The letters bring up the wellbeing of the students which is a main concern of the parents and of the students.
My letter to parents of college freshman:
Dear Parents,
College is a very fun and exciting experience for your children and for you, as well. Your child will be able to participate in many oppourtunities on and off campus that will help them grow educationally and socially. The college offers sports teasms, club teams, academic clubs, academic organizations, greek organizations, etc. While these new experiences are very new and exciting, your child will also be faced with the challenge of balancing their schdule and their social life. If the student does not do well in their classes they will not be able to take advantage of the social opportunities on campus. Make sure you talk to your child about prioritizing their schedule. Coming to college, all the newfound freedoms can be intimidating and the student may not know how to react. It can be difficult to put school work infront of fun, but to stay in college and earn a degree, the student must learn to do so.
